In The News...

Today Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians and grant recipients representing nine different non-profit organizations gathered at Chandler's in Schaumburg for the club's annual Community Grant Awards Breakfast, a morning dedicated to recognizing and supporting organizations making a difference in the greater Schaumburg & Hoffman Estates area and beyond.

Join us for a soul-filled evening
of smoky BBQ, smooth bourbon, and sizzling blues!

It’s a night to savor the best of the South
while supporting a great cause.

Blues.  Bourbon.  BBQ.  Be There!

Today Club President Joe Sabatino inducted Sandhya Matthews and Jeff Rice, both Schaumburg residents, into our Schaumburg A.M. Rotary family.  Sandhya was sponsored for membership by Bill Matthews and Jeff by Tom Gaudio.

It is both an honor and a responsibility to be a Rotarian, and we are thrilled to have them join us in this journey of service, fellowship, and positive impact.  As new members, they bring with them fresh perspectives, diverse experiences, and unique talents that will enrich our club and help us continue our mission.

Today we celebrate 35 years of dedicated community service!

This milestone anniversary is a testament to the hard work, generosity, and unwavering support of our club members, partners, and the community who attended our annual fundraising events that make it possible for us to bring hope and positive change for those in need.

Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians were present at today’s 37th Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon hosted by the Village of Schaumburg and held at Maggiano’s Little Italy.

Certificates of Appreciation were presented to all volunteer nominees in the following three categories – Adult, Organization and Youth – by Schaumburg Village President Tom Dailly.

Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians recently participated in a club service project that benefited the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.

The project consisted of the club donating more than $800 worth of essential food items and packing that into fifty emergency food bags for the pantry to give to clients when there is a need, but the client does not have an appointment to shop in this self-select pantry.

The township is currently distributing 60-70 of these emergency bags monthly. These bags are intended to tide the client over for 1-2 days until they can schedule their food pantry visit.
