Harper College President outlines Promise Scholarship Program

Our featured guest speaker today included Harper president Dr. Kenneth Ender and Michele Robison, Special Assistant to the President for Diversity & Inclusion/Assistant Provost, who explained the parameters of this community college’s Promise Scholarship Program that makes it possible for every eligible public high school student in Harper's district to earn up to two years of tuition at Harper College if they maintain solid grades, have good attendance, don't repeat classes, graduate on time and provide service to their community.
Program criteria was developed by Harper, area public high schools and local business leaders to promote life skills and habits that will help students succeed in college and beyond and provide businesses with smart, skilled and motivated employees.
