Interact clubs empower young people ages 12 to 18 to take action in their community, develop leadership skills, and gain a global perspective.  Interact is a student led and driven program of Rotary International that is designed to engage and motivate our youth to make a difference and have fun with like-minded peers in doing so.

During World Interact Week - scheduled for November 4 - 10, 2019 - we celebrate and highlight the accomplishments of an estimated half million Interact club members around the world, including those at Schaumburg's Frost Jr. High!

Frost Interact Club has four primary goals for its members -

  1. club members will learn the value of individual responsibility and hard work
  2. students will demonstrate helpfulness and respect for others
  3. Interactors will develop leadership skills and personal integrity
  4. the seventh and eighth graders will help to advance international understanding and goodwill
Interact gives students an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects and meet new friends.  Interact service projects include a school project, community project, and world project.  Through Frost Interact Club, its members will be well on their way to becoming the next generation of responsible and productive citizens.

Frost Interact students are gearing up for their "Adopt-A-Family" holiday giving program in addition to promoting their "Sweets 4 Soldiers" service project where they are collecting excess Halloween candy to ship to US soldiers around the world.

Schaumburg AM Rotary is pleased to mentor, sponsor and support this group as they make a positive impact in their school, and community, both here at home and around the world.

We also recognize and thank their parents for encouraging their children to get involved and their faculty advisors who supervise and guide this group and their projects!
