Rotarian Ekambram B - a long distance visitor from the Rotary Club of Nanganallur, Chennai, India - exchanged his club’s flag with Schaumburg AM Rotary club president Brian Bieschke at today’s club meeting.  Ekambram is chairman of membership development for his club that marked its 20 year anniversary earlier this year.

One of the colorful traditions of many Rotary clubs is the exchange of a small banner, flag or pennant. Rotarians traveling to distant locations often take their club banners to exchange with the clubs that they visit as a token of friendship.

Did you know that there are approximately 1.2 million plus Rotarians who are members of more than 34,000 Rotary Clubs around the world?

Rotary unites leaders who exchange ideas and take action to create positive change in our communities.
