Club supports Family Literacy Night at Churchill School

Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians Earl Bateman, Lori Corrigan, Sharon Perry and Greg Ring represented the club at the 2015 “Reading Under the Stars” Family Literacy Night celebration for students and parents taking place at Schaumburg’s Winston Churchill Elementary School.
Literacy Night student activities included a Flashlight Book Reading with flashlights being donated by Earl who is employed by MPG Tandem. Greg acted as a Star Reader for a group of students and parents and Lori & Sharon participated in the Scholastic Book Fair. Our club provided funding to the school so they could award Scholastic Book Gift Certificates to Churchill students that allowed them to purchase books of their choice at the fair.
